We just had a Lennox furnace and air conditioning installed with zone control and a humidifier. Golden Valley Heating and Air did an excellent job. From the estimator to the install team (Conrad and Jayden) did an excellent job. They put down mats to keep the floor tidy. Thanks for all your help. They also are the Costco provider for furnace and air in my area. They cleaned up very well upon completion also.

After 32 years of reliable, trouble-free service, it was finally time to replace our Lennox Gas Furnace and Central A/C. After having a great customer experience with our previous equipment – we wanted to stay with the Lennox brand and requested 3 quotes from local HVAC companies including Costco. Costco connected us with one of their local installers (Brian @ Golden Valley Heating and Air in Crystal, MN) who met with me to determine what solution best fit our needs. Brian came out to our home and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and most of all - patient! His proposal was very simple & complete and was also the most cost-effective of the 3 estimates I received. The other 2 companies included a heat-pump option which Brian patiently took the time to explain why he didn’t recommend that option for us.

Once we selected Costco/GVHA, the installation was scheduled in a few days. The installers (Aaron & Aaron) arrived promptly at 7am and they worked diligently throughout the day. They carefully removed the old and equipment and spent the rest of the day installing the new Lennox Central A/C & Gas Furnace, Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat and a Healthy Solution air filtration system. What impressed me most about these 2 installers is their willingness to answer questions and how carefully they performed their work and kept the work areas around them neat and clean. I was amazed at the finished project how everything was taped, sealed, evenly spaced and secured. My wife and I think their installation was a true work of art! I would highly recommend purchasing the Lennox brand through Costco and the team at Golden Valley Heating & Air!

I recently purchased a furnace through Costco, and Golden Valley Heating & Air was assigned for the installation. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of fantastic!

The team arrived right on time and were incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Not only did they complete the installation efficiently, but they were also very friendly and respectful of my home. The technicians were knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and ensured that everything was working perfectly before they left.

In the last 5 years I have had them install 2 different heat and air set ups with no problems. BUT then I ordered a $200 routine tune up on one of them. And they didn't do what I paid for. 2 days later the Air con freezes up. They came back out and said the refrigerant level was low and the condenser coil needed cleaning. Which is odd because I paid $200 to have the refrigerant level checked and the coil cleaned. So they either screwed up the tune up, or just said they did the tune up but didn't do it. ( this screw up caused the air unit to thaw and leak onto my ceiling below. Leaving a big water stain). Golden Valley Heating then proceeded to make up lies and BS to explain how this wasn't there fault. I have owned a lot of properties over the years and have delt with (and worked on) many air conditioning units. So when the lies and BS was thrown out in the hopes of confusing me, It didn't work. I was thoroughly disappointed as I thought I was dealing with a reputable company. SO if you hire them, make sure to watch to see they actually do the tune up, And not just say they did and steal your money.
PS they sent me a bill for $130 for doing what I paid them to do 2 days ago.

We went through Costco for a new ac and furnace and Golden Valley heating and air did a great job. They were straight forward and honest with options and costs, no hidden fees. I will use them again in the future for sure. The new Lennox ac is crazy cold and the whole system works great.

I had needed a replacement furnace/AC for several years. Brian, the owner of GV Heating and Air came out to give an estimate. His professionalism and guidance helped me select the appropriate units for my needs, reducing the choices to simple options of noise vs. cost.

The job involved rebates from several sources. Susan from their office made it painless. All documentation was sent via email; she took care of the onerous job of filing for all the rebates involved. Scheduling was a breeze, and when she called with an opportunity to move up the date became available, they were there, bright and early.

The installation crew was extraordinarily professional. Over 6 or 7 hours, they removed the old hulk of a furnace and installed the new one. The craftsmanship and detail they demonstrated was consistently first rate. Every installation needs to be custom. They also endured my questions with good grace and smiles.

In a final complement, the inspectors for both the mechanical and electrical work spoke highly of them. “They do great work.”

1/2020: The work was good and the servicemen were courteous, but PVC glue was dripped on our washing machine along with dark grease marks. Now I have purple marks and grease marks that won't come off! (In trying to remove the grease, I started removing some of the ink on the washer, so I stopped.) Someone from the company came to check on it, but nothing has been done to accommodate the marring of our washing machine.

Update 1/21/20: After seeing our review, we were contacted by the company. They said they wanted us to be satisfied, and they would replace the front or send us a check to cover the cost of replacing the front. They were very prompt in sending us the check. We received it within a few days of them contacting us.

It is nice to know there are companies who still value good customer service, care about their reputation, and will follow up on dissatisfied customers. I would, definitely, work with this company, again.
