For years, I had a damp 1896 basement that included a small hole in the wall where water trickled in creating a mess during extended rainfalls. I didn't think a fix was possible. However, from the assessment and sale through process completion of the project I felt fully informed and am extremely satisfied with the result!

We had a terrible experience with DBS. Almost every part of the project had to be done twice, including ordering and installing the incorrect wall panels, the wrong floor, and wrong hardware. The closet doors were installed upside down. The floor wasn’t leveled after pipes were dug, so we have a permanently lumpy floor that’s uncomfortable to walk on despite many attempts to repair it. The shower faucet was installed incorrectly so the shower wouldn’t get warm, and the project manager told me that was a “me problem” and suggested I fix it myself. A faulty laundry valve was installed which cause the washer to flood the space. These are just the tip of the iceberg and each time I brought one of the issues up to our contractor he dismissed it and told me I was wrong. I do not recommend working with DBS.

Update as of 12/2024 After contact with a series of managers offering to fix our issues, DBS partially repaired the floor and some trim. The rest of the repairs and cleanup were done by us at our own expense. Wall have began cracking, even after repair the floor has large gaps, and the hole they put in the foundation of our house remains un-repaired. They have agreed to remove the cost of having someone else repair the foundation from the bill, so I guess that's something. We have since discovered that the workers hired to work in our house were not licensed and DBS does not have a record of who they were. We are deeply dissatisfied with the original work and the resolutions.

5 stars... Chris was great for my attic insulation. He and his team answered all questions worked quickly and cleaned up. Team arrived timely and when they said they would be here.

3 stars... Basement leak team turned off gas to boiler leaving the home with no hot water or heat. When asked was told they blew the breaker but had to call in heating company to get heat working again due to the team messing with the boiler. Called manager 1/6 about this and still have not received a return call. Work looks like it was done as promised but frustrating when there was more problems that came up from their work. Did not clean up floors well from concrete dust that could be a quick sweep or vacuum job.

1 star... Communication, was canceled due to snow and wasn't called until 1 pm. Then scheduled days were canceled and not informed this was canceled.

Glad projects are done and seem done well but definitely some things that can be addressed.

DBS is definitely a company I vouch for. Their specialist Sierra showed up on time a did a super amazing job on my house. Her Quality of work and customer service skills was exceptional, she was very polite and made sure I understood the process before starting. I'm a happy happy lifelong customer now.❤️

The DBs team came out this week to re-insulate the Patrick of our home and added insulation to our garage that never had any blown in. The crew worked very hard and cleaned up after they were done. I highly recommend their staff to help anyone with their home. I would recommend not waiting 29 years like we did.

We hired them to finish the basement back in June and it's almost the end of December and barely anything has been completed. Communication is seldom at best. They will say they're coming and then not show up for days/weeks. We have materials just sitting out in the elements (not in the garage like we were wanting) getting covered in rain and snow. Is it even good anymore? We get told estimated end dates that end up not even being close. When we first hired them, they said October was doable. Then it turned into November. Then the end of December... now who knows. I understand, for instance, that the 3rd party electrician canceling 3 times isn't in their control, but lack of communication or pushing the electrician on their end just is frustrating to no end.

Extremely happy with our sidewalk repair. Had our sidewalk leading up to our front steps leveled by Luke Carter. Luke was professional, efficient, and work product was A+. The whole experience from consultation with our sales rep to repairs was good. Will recommend DBS to everyone.

They did a very good job; they were able to come earlier than they had scheduled (I had requested if they had an earlier time if they could fit me in). Everything was cleaned up. They sent photos during and after the job. The communication was excellent. I would recommend anyone looking for this service you will not find better.
