Cable Alternatives -

I was extremely happy with Cable Alternatives. A key element was John taking the time to ask numerous questions to better understand how I watch TV, what I watch, and what my budget is. He really dug in until he understood what my wish list and priorities were if I were to “cut” cable. I listened, made a number of decisions, and moved forward with John’s solutions. Andrew who performed the service was fabulous. Very experienced. I had some questions following the install. John always communicated promptly. I feel they both went above and beyond to ensure what we discussed is what I received. I’m saving about $110/mo thanks to making a change and hiring this company.

My wife and I are in our 70s and have wanted to get rid of our satellite and cable obligations for a long time. We were thrilled when John sat down with us and told us we could do so. He was reasonable in cost and very reliable in fulfilling his promises, offering us excellent service and excellent follow-up care. We are very, very pleased with John and Cable Alternatives. Our experience was great. John came to our house and took care of everything from providing and hooking up a new modem, and 2 Rokus to getting our new services hooked up. He made sure that everything was setup and customized the home screen for us. He is also dropping off our cable devices and disconnecting our cable tv and phone service. It was truly white glove service. We are saving $150/month and are very happy that we called Cable Alternatives.

We were looking to downgrade from cable as we just don't watch that much TV but still wanted to be able to get PBS and local news. John was very responsive and insightful about how to get this accomplished. The new antenna isn't distracting or tasteful on the back of our house/roof. The work was done with minimum distraction and not evasive which was great as I also was able to work while the install happen. John gave us a fare quote and stuck to that price.

My experience with John and Andrew was excellent. They are both highly skilled in what they do, and completely reliable. John walked me through the whole process of getting set up with Century Link, assisted me with several technical parts of getting the service ordered with Century Link ,and clearly explained how the installation(of the aerial) with Andrew would happen. Andrew took time to be sure every TV in my house was working before he left, and answered all my questions. When I had some difficulties dealing with Century Link, John checked in with me, offered to contact people on my behalf, and went out of his way to make the deal work. He really "shepherded" me through the process. You can completely rely on John to follow through with everything he says he will do, and to bring your transition to completion.

John installed an antenna in our attic so we could get the best TV reception (which we did!). John was extremely courteous and efficient as he installed the antenna and hooked up our three TV'S to make sure everything was OK and running smoothly. I very strongly endorse John and Cable Alternatives to take care of all your TV reception needs. In fact, this was my second time using Cable Alternatives as we used them to install an antenna in our previous house. Great company and even greater person.

John of Cable Alternatives is extremely knowledgeable and helped us come up with a great plan for getting TV to the various rooms of our new house. And the installer, Ben, was fantastic, working late and without complaint when he ran into some difficulties in the way our house was pre-wired. We were extremely pleased with the work that was done. And, most importantly, everything works just the way we hoped it would!
