We selected Closet World and they quickly sent out a designer to work with us. The designer (Maria Elena) was courteous and patient and helped us design our space and we had a lot of questions. We finalize our closet and we are content with their service and their product. The only thing that we noticed was that our drawers did not seem flush when they closed (The bottom of the drawer was flush against the wood, but the top did not seem to close flush with the wood ) but aside from that everything else went well. Now I just have to work on installing the doors and my whole project will be done. Thank you closet world. I would recommend them.

It's been a complete nightmare working with Closet World!! Jasmin, our designer knew exactly what our expectations were because we walked her to our daughter's room to show her closet (first picture) to give Jasmin a visual image. Thankfully, our installers showed me an image (second picture) of what was about to be installed on both of my kids closets which looks nothing compared to what I asked for. Kids closets are 24 inch deep and Jasmin’s design measured only 12 inches. None of the sketches I signed off on show depth measurements. Jasmin has ignored our calls and text messages multiple times. Her last text read "I'm very busy with other appointments call me on Monday" (in 5 days). It's clear to me that Jasmin has no intentions on getting this resolved so I moved on and started communicating with Ashley Hernandez, Jasmin's manager, but after 2 days of communication, she told me that they would not change anything and that my only option was to move forward with the project the way it is. I've even offered to pay extra for the additional material, Ashley told me that my case would stay in pending status and that my $4,500 deposit would not be returned. I truly doubt that this review will change anything as I already see that this company has 2.5 stars out of almost 2,000 Yelp reviews. I’m hoping that this review finds its way to someone in Closet World that still cares about their reputation and customer’s satisfaction.

Closet world reached out to me within a couple days of this review and offered to redo the closet based on my feedback. They were able to schedule me in quickly, and I am very happy with the final product. Will definitely consider doing business with them again.

I recently had a walk-in closet installed by Closet World, and was very disappointed at the final product.

During the design consultation, the designer assured us that the hanging closet would be standard depth, and we specifically mentioned that we wanted to eventually add doors and needed space to store suitcases on top. However, the installed closet ended up being only 1 foot deep—a significant departure from what we were shown in the brochures and what we understood from the consultation.

I'll admit, the design drawing that we signed off on did indicate this depth. However, it wasn’t clearly communicated, which made me feel misled given the sample photos and discussions that we had.

Additionally, the installation quality was disappointing. The backing board was not flush, with noticeable gaps, and the closet itself was uneven. The installer attributed this to the house structure, but the previous closet in the same space had no such issues.

To their credit, the actual material itself feels great, and they were able to schedule me in very quickly. The price was good, but now I can see why.

Overall, if you do want to go with them, I’d recommend being very thorough during the design process to ensure all details are clearly discussed and agreed upon. There were a few things that we did catch and had to ask the designer to fix (missing backing / wrong sizing), but unfortunately we did miss the one important detail in the end.

I absolutely love Closet World! They have built out all of my kids’closets as well as my downstairs tiny coat closet, which made so much more space just by having it built out. The most recent project was my garage and the cupboards came out absolutely fantastic! Mayra, the estimator is the sweetest lady ever, and she helped me design the space for maximum organization. The installers arrived on time, did a great job, were so nice, and cleaned up absolutely everything! The peace of mind that comes from having a place for everything is priceless and Closet World is the best! ?

My closest was so bad before Kayla came into my life. She transformed my closet into a master piece with little direction from me. She got me, right off the bat. She is amazing at her job and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new closet design.

Overall I would recommend Closet World for renovating and improving your closet.
My design consultant Mary Jean provided a good design taking into account the types of clothes and storage we needed. The install started late the first day so it took two days to install, but could be done in a single day. Our installer Kevin did a great job, was very professional and had good attention to detail. The reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is due to some communication issues, as the initial consult I expected to take maybe one hour and the designer to leave and send me a design later, rather she stayed for almost 4 hours drawing up the design at our house. There was also a pressured sales tactic to get me to sign a contract with a deposit before she left. Also I would only buy from them with their over 50% off sales. Otherwise the price is not competitive.

I am pleased with how it came out, if I could go back there is a few things I would change during the design process that I didn’t realize before. I was not impressed with how the company scheduled the installation. I confirmed my date but did not receive a time the builders would come. I called the morning before and a representative told me times weren’t finalized and they would call me after 3 pm. It was almost 4pm and no call, so I reached out again and they gave me a time between 2-4pm. And they did not let me adjust the time at all. I could have at least went to work half day. The builder came close to 4pm, and took him a few hrs to finish. Although I am happy with his work, I think its really unprofessional to have them come out so late. It was dark when he left, and just very awkward to have him there during the evening hrs. I read some bad reviews about this as well, I hope closet world makes better decisions about this in the future.

This is genuinely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. And the product is worse.

I hired Closetworld to install two closets. There were errors in measurement, numerous installation visits, poor quality standards, product safety concerns, and failure to understand the requirements of our needs have caused significant inconvenience and disappointment. The product delivered and installed is not the quality promised at the purchase time.

Every concern I expressed to their management was dismissed. The designer was wrong in their measurements and it was left on me to deal with it. They do everything on carbon paper and charge you extra for a digital mockup. The carbon paper was so confusing that their factory cut the wrong sizes multiple times.

The drawer handles were wrong, the paint was chipped, the panels damaged, the backing was not flush to the wall, the shelves were missing, it took three trips instead of one, installation start times were at 2 pm instead of 9 am, and the quality overall appeared poor versus what was shown. I even paid extra for the backing and they don't provide backing under all areas of the closet (but notice the top area they provide).

Now I'm stuck with a horrible looking closet. Honestly the worst purchase experience I've ever had. I can't believe I paid so much money to be stuck with this.
