I had a 10/10 experience here! They are very friendly and outgoing, and I love the festive spirit they have with Halloween decorations throughout, it’s beautiful! I have a German shepherd and he was very well taken care of, and smells great. She even gave him a cool little Halloween bandana!

My kitty cat looks so great! He got a lion cut, bath & clipped nails. I'm very happy with this place...very professional! Nice couple too! They gave us a new collar & treats.
It's cash only & took 2 hrs same day appointment.

We’re new to the Fresno area and were looking for a dog groomer for our newly adopted dog. I contacted Shack In The Back and they immediately responded and were very friendly and informative about their services. They got me in the same day and the price was more than reasonable! Not to mention the owners were very friendly, professional and welcoming. The place was very clean and cozy. We loved the decor! Thank you for the service and our doggy is clean and very happy !!

Very grateful they were able to get my rescue dog in and cared for. When I picked her up she looked great and freely went to both of them without fear so I definitely know they were amazing with her. She is a big dog as well and not all that cooperative going where she dont want to so I know she was a handful. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

This is our second time taking our Norwegian Forest cat Snow here. It's a bit of a drive for us from Kerman to almost Sanger, but oh, so worth it. They did an amazing job the first time that we just had to come back. The owners are good people and are so great with snow. I Highly recommend Shack In The Back Grooming!!!*

AVOID THIS GROOMER AT ALL COST! My dog had a terrible experience that landed him in the hospital, and the groomer refused to cover the vet bill resulting from their neglect. I dropped off my English Bulldog at 9am, expecting a two-hour grooming session as instructed. However, I didn't receive a call until almost 1pm. When I arrived, the groomer (a man) admitted to struggling with my dog's nails. Upon seeing my distressed and hyperventilating dog (see video), I left immediately. I rushed him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with a severe panic attack and required 24-hour sedation and IV fluid. My dog has had no previous issues at other groomers, this experience was traumatizing. The groomer agreed to refund the grooming fee but refused to cover the vet bill, citing a contract. Don't entrust your pets to these people!
